Join Mud & Moon Theatre Co. this Christmas for three creative days of stagecraft, scriptwriting and storytelling, as young people aged 11–16 work together to create their own festive mini play, culminating in an indoor performance for family and friends.

About the event
Led by drama teacher and trained actor Amy Mallett and professional working actor and writer Laura Guest, this three-day festive theatre adventure will take young people aged 11–16 back to the joyful basics of stagecraft: storytelling, character, voice, movement, teamwork, imagination and play.
Across three creative days, the young people will use drama games, guided exercises and simple scriptwriting to invent characters, develop a Christmas-themed story and bring it together as their very own mini play.
This festive three-day experience is a shorter version of our popular A Play in 5 Days theatre weeks. The emphasis will be on creativity, confidence and having fun together, not on producing a polished, full-scale show.
There will be no screens, no technology and no fancy production, just imagination, creativity, a little arts and crafts, and the wonderful magic that happens when young people are encouraged to tell stories together.
