Mia is a history teacher in her forties who’s quietly resigned herself to a life of marking essays, making toasties for one, and avoiding her mother’s relentless lectures on marriage and missed chances. That is, until she glimpses the new PE teacher in the corridor — a man who looks like every romantic comedy cliché rolled into one.
