Mud & Moon Theatre Company
Mud & Moon Theatre Co. has been created by Laura Guest and Amy Mallett out of a shared belief that North Norfolk deserves more creative spaces for people of all ages to explore performance, build confidence and feel part of something.
Laura is a professional working actor and screenwriter, with experience across stage, film and television. Amy is a drama school trained actor, mum and qualified teacher. Together we bring our love of performance, creativity and helping people grow in confidence.
We have created something rooted in the local community: a place where theatre feels joyful, practical and alive.
For children and young people, Mud & Moon offers a space to play, imagine, create stories, make friends and grow in confidence.
For adults, it offers a place to reconnect with acting, stretch creative muscles, practise, collaborate and meet others who love performing.
Mud & Moon is not about being perfect. It is about giving people the chance to explore, express themselves and make something together.

A Play in Five Days - A little bit wild. A little bit magical.

This summer, Mud & Moon Theatre Co. invites young people aged 11 –16 to step into a week of imagination, confidence building, creativity and outdoor theatre in beautiful Upper Sheringham, North Norfolk.
Throughout the week, the children will develop their own stories through drama games, creative exercises and guided scriptwriting, shaping their ideas into short performances to share with family during a picnic open air performance.
This is not about being perfect. It is about having a go, working together, discovering new confidence, and experiencing the joy of creating something original from the ground up.
Whether your child already loves performing or is quietly curious and ready to try something new, they will be welcomed into a supportive, playful and encouraging space and feel proud of what they can create.

Join Mud & Moon Theatre Co. for a free taster evening and find out more about our new Acting Collective launching later this year.
We’ll be introducing two branches:
The Acting Collective, The Craft - classes by Amy, open to all levels, focused on technique, craft, connection, confidence and enjoyment.
The Acting Collective, The Professionals - led by Laura, for working professional, recent graduates and resting professional actors who want a space to connect, practise, play, network, learn about the industry/business and keep building their professional toolbox.
The 12th July will be a relaxed, practical and welcoming evening where you can meet us, try a little of the work, ask questions and see which branch feels right for you.
Spaces are free but limited.
