Mud & Moon Theatre Co. was created by Laura Guest and Amy Mallett from our shared love of theatre, creativity and bringing people together. Based in North Norfolk, we create welcoming, collaborative experiences where children, young people and adults can explore performance, develop their skills and enjoy making theatre together.

Laura is a professional working actor and screenwriter, with experience across stage, film and television and has been blessed to work with some of the best in the business. Amy is a trained actor and qualified teacher with a specialism in linguistics and voice. Together, we bring professional experience, creativity and a genuine passion for helping people discover what they are capable of.

​

Our work is rooted in the local community and in the belief that theatre should feel joyful, practical and alive.

​

For children and young people, our 'A Play in…' adventures offer the excitement of creating, rehearsing and performing an original play together. From A Play in a Day in schools to our immersive A Play in 3 or 5 Days holiday projects, young people are encouraged to use their imaginations, develop their performance skills, make friends and play an active part in bringing a story to life.

For adults, The Acting Collective provides a welcoming space to practise, collaborate and connect with others who share a love of acting. Whether completely new, rediscovering the craft, developing existing skills or navigating the realities of working professionally, members can explore ideas, take creative risks and support one another’s progress.

​

Mud & Moon is not about being perfect. It is about bringing people together, creating opportunities and giving everyone the freedom to explore, express themselves and make something they can be proud of.
