A Halloween Play in 3 Days!

Join Mud & Moon Theatre Co. this October half-term for three playful afternoons of Halloween storytelling, stagecraft and imagination, as children aged 7–10 work together to create their very own mini play, culminating in a special indoor performance for family and friends.

About the event
Led by drama teacher and trained actor Amy Mallett and professional actor and writer Laura Guest, this three-day theatre adventure will take children aged 7–10 back to the joyful basics of stagecraft: storytelling, character, voice, movement, teamwork, imagination and play.
Across three creative afternoons, the children will use drama games, guided exercises and simple scriptwriting to invent characters, develop a Halloween-themed story and bring it together as their very own mini play.
Designed especially for younger children and taking place over three days, this will be a smaller version of our popular A Play in 5 Days theatre weeks. The emphasis will be on creativity, confidence and having fun together...not on producing a polished, full-scale show.
There will be no screens, no technology and no fancy production, just imagination, creativity, a little arts and crafts, and the wonderful magic that happens when young people are encouraged to tell stories together.
